¿Quíen soy?

Hello! My name is Lorena Farias, in 2006 I started my career in the School of Medicine at the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, which I left until the 7th semester when I applied to Florida International University (FIU) for a scholarship that was later awarded to me. I continued my studies in 2009 at FIU and managed to graduate 2 years later.

I started working in the area of nutrition for different service companies and hospitals, but my motivation and passion were not found in those places. So in 2013 I decided to register my brand in the USA called No Es Dieta, which, today, is what gives all the meaning and reason to my work.

Giving you all the advice you need

Currently, I am a mother of three, two boys (Mateo and Milan) and my third son, my company NoEsDieta that was born from my day to day experience with my patients, since they continuously informed me: "Lorena, I am doing the perfect diet" and I simply corrected them: "It is not diet, it is your new way of eating".

Besides being the writer of "Count nutrients, don't count calories", I also have a book on breastfeeding and motherhood, from before conception to the growth of the baby, where I give you all the advice you need; called "I'm going to have an avocado! What now?". My main purpose is to help as many people as possible to have a healthier and happier life that is why I have given more than 15 lectures and talks worldwide.
